Falcon Gases (“Falcon”), a packaged gas growth platform, today announced it has secured a strategic majority investment from Odyssey Investment Partners (“Odyssey”). Additionally, Falcon has acquired Encore Gas & Supply (“Encore”), a premier west coast independent gas and welding supply distributor. Encore is Falcon’s initial investment. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

Odyssey Investment Partners, LLC (“Odyssey”), a growth-oriented middle-market private equity firm, today announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Magna Legal Services (“Magna”), a litigation support services provider, from CIVC Partners, LP (“CIVC”). Financial terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter, were not disclosed.
